Muhammad Ali Fazl appointed President of PWU’s Sultanate of Oman Chapter
Syedzada Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari assumed the post of General Secretary
Muscat Sultanate of Oman (Special Correspondent) Pakistan Writers Union has appointed Mr. Muhammad Ali Fazal as the President of the Sultanate of Oman Chapter and Syedzada Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari as the General Secretary.
According to our correspondent, Pakistan Writers Union has appointed Muhammad Ali Fazal, a prominent poet of the Punjabi language and the author of the book “Mitti Heth Tamasha”, as the interim president of the Sultanate of Oman chapter. Muhammad Ali Fazal assumed his charge from September 26.
While the prose writer Syedzada Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari has been selected as the interim general secretary. Syed Shaandar Bukhari assumed his charge from October 2. It should be noted that Shaandar Bukhari is the son of the late legendary social activist, poet and political guru Syedzada Shakhawat Bukhari.
On this occasion, Muhammad Ali Fazal and Shaandar Bukhari expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Writers Union and vowed to fulfill their positions with sincere intentions.
