3rd Annual Book Fair Attock 2023
Attock (Special Report) Book Fair 2023 was held today in Attock city. This is the third book fair in a row which was full of success. Writers and publishers from Attock district and surrounding towns had set up book stalls in this fair. People from all over the district participated in this fair. Children from different schools of the city came to this fair with their teachers and loved it very much.
Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza inaugurated the fair and, in his speech, he spoke about the importance of books and knowledge. He said that such fairs and activities will lead to the promotion of knowledge, and we will help and encourage those who organize such events as much as possible. Director Comstice University Attock Dr. Junaid Mughal, Assistant Commissioner Attock Shagufta Jabin, Chief Municipal Officer Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmad Khan and others were also present.
The host of the Facebook event of the 3rd Attock Book Fair was Aagha Jahangir Bukhari as usual. In response to his event, hundreds of people attended the book fair and loved it. It should be remembered that Aagha Jahangir Bukhari is a poet, writer, researcher and a voice artist who recites poetry in his unique and great tone on social media.
This book fair was organized in the lawn of Attock Municipality. Municipal Chief Officer Aftab Ahmed Khan and Superintendent Raja Zahid worked tirelessly for this festival. From provision of funds to manpower and publicity, they worked day and night for it. Tea and lunch were also arranged for the guests at the fair, which were specially arranged by Chief Officer Aftab Ahmad Khan and Raja Zahid.
Nusrat Bukhari, Tahir Asir, Hussain Amjad, Monis Raza were also present there in connection with the arrangements of the festival. And there is no doubt that this festival was successful because of these people.
