Centenary History of Government College Attock
Attock (Aman Shuja) The new book titled “Roshani Ki Ek Sadi “(A Century of Light) – History of Government College Attock,” authored by the esteemed writer, poet, and researcher Professor Dr. Arshad Mahmood Nashad, who heads the Urdu Department at Allama Iqbal Open University, will be officially launched on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 10:30 AM. This event will take place at Government College Attock and celebrates the centenary history of the institution.
The gathering will be chaired by Khawaja Ijaz Sarwar, with Sheikh Aftab Ahmed serving as the chief guest. Malik Mushtaq Ajiz and Parveen Malik will be honored guests, while Professor Shamsul Qamar Akif will take on the role of moderator. Speakers discussing the book will include Sheikh Ahsanuddin Advocate, Professor Muhammad Azam Khalid, Dr. Abdus Salam, Syed Mushtaq Hussain Bukhari, Shakir-ul-Qadri, and Professor Azhar Mahmood Tanha. The program will be facilitated by Professor Khalid Javed Siddiqui, the Principal, along with Vice Principal Dr. Syed Muhammad Imran and the staff from Government College Attock.
