World Immunization Week will also be held in Attock from April 24 to 30, 2022. In which children under 2 years of age will be vaccinated against 12 diseases. In this regard, a seminar was organized at District Health Center, Attock. Dr. Jawad Elahi Chief Executive Officer Attock, Dr. Syed Kashif Hussain District Health Officer Attock, Raja Muhammad Ismail District Superintendent Vaccination Attock, Dr. Muhammad Sajjad District Surveillance Officer, Malik Tanveer Ahmed Assistant Superintendent Vaccination Attock and other staff attended the seminar. Awareness for immunizations provided.
All arrangements in this regard have been completed. Later, a public awareness walk was organized. Chief Executive District Health Authority Dr. Jawad Elahi in his address said that it is possible to prevent deadly diseases through immunization. Immunization facilities are being provided in all government hospitals and health centers across the district. While the health department teams are going door-to-door to ensure the success of the immunization program so that future of the nation can be protected from diseases.
