Attock (Correspondent) Chairperson Standing Committee for Health FPCCI and former President of Attock Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tariq Mehmood attended the prize distribution ceremony in the President’s House, Islamabad, at the special invitation of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
Addressing the twelfth Excellence Award ceremony of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the President of Pakistan said that the business community is the backbone of the country’s economy.
He further said that the businessmen should play their role for the improvement of the country’s economy together with the government. It is necessary to promote such industries at the national level which provide employment to the people and make the society prosperous. Today’s ceremony is a tribute to these heroes. It is for those who are working for the improvement of the country’s economy.
At the ceremony, the President of Pakistan also gave awards and shields to various personalities.
