Attock (Special Report) Livestock and Agriculture Minister Punjab Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani said that the Punjab government is taking all possible steps for the development of livestock. He said this on the occasion of his visit to Barani Livestock Production Research Institute Kheri Murt Tehsil Fateh Jang District Attock. Director General Production Dr. Asif Rafiq, Director Kheri Murt Research Institute Dr. Murtaza Ali Tipu, Director Livestock Rawalpindi Dr. Naveed Sahar Zaidi and Additional Director Livestock Attock Dr. Abdul Hameed were also present on this occasion. The Provincial Minister also visited the Barani Livestock Production Research Institute and Paravet Training Institute. The concerned officers gave a detailed briefing to the Provincial Minister.

During the briefing, it was informed that all the resources are being utilized for the development of livestock in the Research Institute, apart from this, a two-year diploma is also being conducted at the Paravet Training Institute, Kheri Murt. Provincial Minister Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani visited the institution and various departments and reviewed the administrative affairs، He said on this occasion that development of livestock is the first priority of the government for which all steps are being taken. The provincial minister said that he will visit the Livestock Research Institutes across the province in the near future and a coordinated action plan will be drawn up for their development to work for the promotion of livestock in the Punjab province.
