Punjab (Dr. Shuja Awan)Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Yawar Abbas Bukhari attended a function of the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Handicapped. The chief guest of the function was Mrs. Samina Alvi, First Lady of Pakistan.
Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari in his speech said that rehabilitation of the physically handicapped should be the first and foremost goal of the society. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, effective legislation is being enacted in this regard. And in Punjab, a regular Ham Qadam program has been started in this regard under the Ehsas program in which persons with disabilities will be given Rs 2,000 per person per month.
